(Desert 1920). One of the most distinctly coloured peonies. Large open cup shaped semi double flowers, which open a bright salmon rose with a silvered edge. The silvering increases as the flower ages. The stamens emerge from amongst the petals as the bloom opens fully. A beautiful and refined peony for the border or collection with bright foliage that gives consistently good autumn colour. The flowers are lightly scented. A great all rounder growing to around 85cm. Mid to late flowering.
